This course builds on the theory and practice from Semester 1. The course focuses on diagnostic procedures, including medical imaging, nuclear medicine, neurology, cardiology, respiratory, and endoscopy. Students study the purpose, patient preparation and principles of processing diagnostic procedures. Students are able to apply these principles by processing diagnostic procedures. The responsibilities of diagnostic departments and staff are discussed. Problem-solving techniques for processing diagnostic orders are also discussed and practised.
