Physicians' Orders 5 (HLUC 2310)
This course builds on the theory and practice from Semester 1. The course focuses on admission, pre and post-operative and discharge orders. The responsibilities of therapeutic departments and staff are discussed. Acute Pain Service and Clinical Pathways are also discussed. Students study the principles and problem-solving techniques of processing admission, pre and post-operative and discharge orders. Students are able to apply these principles by processing admission, surgical and discharge orders.
